Photo Otokos (Branding)

A more detailed walk through this job, it’s problems, it’s target audience, the goals, the process I used, and the end result will be coming soon. For now, We’ll stick with the abbreviated version.

A duo of photographers needed help with branding for their venture, “Photo Otokos,” as well as a logo to use on business cards. I scheduled an interview where I got more information about the organization, identified the target audience, and helped to define the brand. Afterwords, I made a number of different potential logos that could be used as a baseline for the work, and submitted them to the duo.

The two eventually decided on a variant of the aperture logo in the middle, so I made several higher-quality variants, and submitted them as well.

Variation List

The two settled on logo variant 3, also opting to save variant 4 for a watermark. The group was very satisfied with my work, and have now contracted me to design a website for their organization.
